Steps to Salvation

Salvation (deliverance from sin) is the most important thing in the world, both now and hereafter. If you are not saved, nothing else really matters. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
 
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
 

Steps to Salvation

1. All Have Sinned: Transgressed against God’s Divine Law – missed the mark. Sin separates us from God. The effects of sin cause us to experience problems in our lives and can lead to everlasting destruction (hell) if not forgiven. “The wicked (sinners) shall be turned into hell, and all nations that forget God.” (Psalms 9:17) According to the Bible, all have sinned. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23)
   
2. Repent: (Being Sorry for Sinning, Asking for Forgiveness)
   Jesus said, “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish”. (Luke 13:3) “….and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;”. (I Thess. 1:9)
   
3. Believe: (Have Faith in God and His Son Jesus)
   “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9) You must believe that Jesus loves you, and He does.
   
4. Let God Change your lifestyle. Now that you have ask God to come into your life, and He did; you have to let Him renew your mind. Change your way of thinking from the ungodly way to a righteous and holy way. (Romans 12: 1-2) “I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

If you have read the Steps to Salvation and desire to be saved, you can pray the prayer of Salvation now and God will save you. Pray, “I know that I am a sinner because I am living a sinful life and I owe a sin debt. I also believe, according to the Word of God, that Christ died on the cross for my sins and in my place. I believe that His death paid for my sins. God, I am now asking that you forgive my sins and accept me as your child. I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.” From this minute on, I will begin living as a new creation. Thank you God for saving me. Amen.
